Tensage utilizes the unique SCA Biorepair Technology, a fibroblast growth factor, to slow and reverse the visible signs of aging.
SCA Biorepair Technology
- SCA is a naturally occurring Secretion of the Cryptomphalus Aspersa.
Scientists observed that the Cryptomphalus aspersa (a specie of snail), following an injury, produced this secretion to repair its skin in as little as 24 hours.
- SCA is a biologically active, glycoprotein secretion.
SCA stimulates biochemical, structural and functional processes to regenerate damaged tissues.
- SCA has been proven to repair human skin.
For over 20 years, SCA’s regenerative properties in human skin have been used in Europe to provide treatment options for radiodermatitis. As with other growth factors, effectiveness in wound healing translates to rejuvenation.
SCA works on aging skin in much the same way –
to repair the skin from the damage of the aging process.
Tensage stimulates fibroblast proliferation, providing the structure needed to assemble the extracellular matrix.
The extracellular matrix provides the structure for:
- Collagen deposition
- Hyaluronic acid density
- Elastin integrity
Patients will see:
- Softening in the appearance of coarse lines and wrinkles
- Reduction in the appearance of fine lines
- Improvement in overall wrinkled area
- Improvement in skin texture
- Improvement in tone and elasticity of the skin
SCA Biorepair Technology is available in a variety of strengths exclusively through the Tensage line of products. Each of the Tensage products has a Repair Index Number which indicates the strength of the product. The use of the products can be customized to meet the patient’s needs, please contact your Biopelle representative for more information.
Tensage Results
The Tensage regimen has been clinically proven to show a visible improvement in the signs of aging. By providing a structure for enhanced collagen deposition, Hyaluronic acid density and elastin integrity, a noticeable improvement in the tone and texture is experienced.
Daily use of the SCA Biorepair Technology in Tensage provides an improvement in fine and coarse wrinkles, visible after three months of intensive Tensage treatment.1
